Himalayan Pink Salt is pure, hand-mined salt found naturally, deep within the pristine Himalayan Mountains. Himalayan salt contains the same 84 trace minerals and elements that are found in the human body, a few of which include sodium chloride, sulphate, calcium, potassium, and magnesium.
Himalayan Chunks are perfect for making Sole. Sole solution is a salt water solution made from water saturated with naturally occurring, unprocessed Himalayan food grade salt. You see the rocks of Himalayan salt in there. The idea of this solution is to take a little bit every day, like a supplement, on an empty stomach. Himalayan Salt contains Sodium, Potassium and Calcium, these are the three electrolytes that facilitate muscle contraction. Without a proper balance of them, you’ll feel weak or cramp up. Your body burns through electrolytes just like water. A lot of people confuse the symptoms of electrolyte deficiency with dehydration, and further exacerbate the problem by over hydrating when what they really need is to increase their intake of electrolytes. **Please note: As Himalayan Salt is a natural product, the colours can vary from white/pale pink to deep pink/orange. This is in correlation to the iron content in the salt, the difference being parts per million. Due to the nature of Himalayan Salt, when dissolved in water there may be leftover residue which can cause a change in the colour of the water, this residue (often dark red/pink) comes from insoluble minerals, namely iron and silica, from the Salt. Although some of these minerals don’t fully dissolve in the water, they are bio-available (your body can absorb and use them) and are good for your health.
Our Himalayan Salt Chunks are certified Organic and Food Grade. They are approximately 35-80mm but can vary. They are packed as follows 1KG, 2KG, 5KG, 10KG (2x5KG) are packed in food grade clear heat sealed bags. 25KG Bags are packaged in our supplier’s hessian sack, which is placed inside another strong plastic poly bag.
